Counter-Strike: GlobalOffensive

What is CS-GO and why should you play it?

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive also called CS-GO is a first-person shooter with multiplayer options. There are different game modes such as Deathmatch, Casual, Competetive, Danger Zone, Arms Race, Demolition and Flying Scoutsman.

Well just because a game got loads of content doesn’t mean that it’s good, So here are our reasons why you should play CS-GO.

  1. This diagram shows that the average of players online in January 2019 is 400.000, and the Peak of players online at the same time is 750.000. This is a reason in itself because CS-GO is good game according to these numbers.
  2. There are hours off playtime with 7 different game modes.
  3. You can play with friends.
  4. It’s totally free.

CS-GO involve skins and music. Skins can be used on weapons and gloves. Skins got 5 different states of quality Factory New (FN), Minimal Wear (MV), Field-Tested (FT),            Well-Worn (WW) and Battle-Scarred (BS). Qualities have a huge impact because in each step the skin will get more deuterated and lose their color and print. The skin will degrade in quality but it can be found in all qualities. There are different types of skins such as Common, Uncommon, Rare, Mythical, Legendary, Ancient, Exceedingly Rare and StatTrak that is an extra type that can be on the normal skins.

Steam trading is a build-in feature to buy and sell skins and etc with other players. Steam takes a little percent of the earning from the skins but that’s it. Somebody probably thinks now that why should I buy skins when I can get them from boxes. You can do that but it cost 2 euro for a key to open them, and most of the skins are only worth 0,5 or lover. That’s why it’s better to just buy the skins you like. The prices go up and down but that mostly depends on which skin it is.

CS-GO Tournaments

There is a ton of CS-GO tournaments both famous and small. The CS-GO major is probably the most famous tournament with a prize pool of 1.000.000$.                          More information about the Majors will come.
